Who we are

WhatsReport is a Shopify app that sends sales reports and order notifications to WhatsApp numbers chosen by the merchant. It is operated by Arthur Cuco. Contact: support@getwhatsreport.com.

Data we collect

• Shop configuration — your shop domain and the settings you enter in the app: WhatsApp recipient numbers and names, report schedule, thresholds, language.
• Order data — order totals, product titles and customer names are read from the Shopify API to build reports and notifications. They are processed at send time; only the text of sent messages is kept in a delivery log.
• Visitor counts — if you enable visitor tracking, our web pixel stores an anonymous random identifier per visitor per day. No IP address, no name, no behavioral profile.

How data is used

Exclusively to deliver the service: building your reports, sending your notifications through the WhatsApp Business API (Meta), and showing you a message history. We do not sell data, share it with third parties beyond the delivery described above, or use it for advertising.

Where data is stored

Data is hosted in the European Union (Scaleway, France). Messages are delivered through Meta's WhatsApp Business Cloud API, subject to Meta's business terms.

Retention and deletion

Settings and logs are kept while the app is installed. When you uninstall the app, Shopify's GDPR webhooks trigger deletion: shop data is purged after the redaction request, and customer-specific redaction requests remove the matching message log entries. You can also request deletion at any time by e-mail.

Under the GDPR you may request access, correction or erasure of personal data by writing to support@getwhatsreport.com. We answer within 30 days.
